Bamfield is a remote community but at the same time we have a very good support system to help us in the event of an emergency.

Our address is 294 South Bamfield Road - Explain where on the property you are located.

• A Coast Guard Station is located on the West Side of Bamfield

• There is a Bamfield Health Centre that staffs nurses specially qualified for remote care

• Bamfield Fire Department with a fire truck, a fire boat and a first responders ambulance. On Wednesdays the horn will go off at 6pm signaling fire practice.

  • The same horn will go off but sounds slightly different to signal a tsunami - in the event we need to travel to high ground. We need to go to the top of the property and from there to the Fire Hall
